El Alcalde, Saúl Monreal Ávila hizo un llamado enérgico al Gobernador, Alejandro Tello Cristerna ante la grave situación que está viviendo en Fresnillo, debido a que no se está teniendo recaudación, dada la emergencia sanitaria por el COVID-19.
Indicó que le preocupa la minimización que el Gobierno del Estado y el Federal han dado al tema económico, porque no lo han atendido y se espera que la situación se complique aún más y, es el Estado quien tiene la obligación de atender a los municipios y; sin embargo, dijo, están desprotegidos.
“Hago un llamado respetuoso y enérgico al gobernador, que nos ayude, la situación es grave y delicada, no se tendrá ni para la nómina del Ayuntamiento, es algo grave porque no tenemos recaudación e incluso ahorita estoy convocando de manera urgente a la Síndico Municipal (Maribel Galván Jiménez) y a la Tesorera (Silvia Eugenia Hernández Márquez) para reprogramar el gasto, porque no vamos a tener para cumplir con lo que está estipulado dentro del presupuesto de este año”, informó.
Monreal Ávila reiteró que en los próximos días se puede complicar la situación por lo desea que el Gobierno del Estado les ayude; tan sólo por el tema de Pandemia debido al aislamiento por tres meses se requerirá cerca de 400 millones de pesos para que el municipio de Fresnillo salga adelante.
Consideró que se tiene que replantear una vez más un programa de austeridad, el cual ya se tenía, per se tendrá que reforzar aún más.
